2026 SIGNING TRACKER: P Brett Reid

KITCHENER - The Kitchener Panthers are proud to announce the signing of relief pitcher Brett Reid.

Reid is entering his fifth season in Kitchener, and is coming off a year where he made 14 appearances out of the bullpen.

He recorded an 11.50 ERA in 18 innings of work, though the numbers don't give a true indication on how effective he was in 2025. He didn't allow an earned run in eight of his 14 appearances, and his ERA was buoyed by a tough relief appearance against Welland in a 23-3 loss.

"Brett is our longest tenured player and a leader on the pitching staff," said general manager Shanif Hirani.

"After a tough outing to start the year, he really turned it around and got a lot of valuable outs out of the bullpen for us. I'm excited to see him build off of his second half success."
