Postponement Policy

Postponement Policy

The Kitchener Panthers prides itself on providing the best game day experience it can at Jack Couch Park.

We are also quite cognizant of the weather forecast on each game day. If the weather is even slightly murky, the number one question we get into our inbox throughout the day is always "is the game postponed."

The answer to that question is UNLESS YOU SEE A POST FROM US ON SOCIAL MEDIA SAYING SO, the game is still on.

The Panthers - in partnership with the City of Kitchener - determines whether or not the field is playable.

That determination is made in a timely manner, depending on how far the opposition has to travel for the game. We strive to make a final determination approximately three hours in advance of a game. That time frame is escalated if an opponent has to travel further (think Barrie, Chatham-Kent or Welland).

The number one rule for fans to remember: when in doubt, check our social media pages to see if there is a post saying a game is postponed.

If a game is postponed, a new date for the game is determined shortly after and announced publicly when available.
