Mark Pare Returns As Panthers Broadcast and Radio Voice

Mark Pare will be returning to the broadcast booth for his third season as the voice of the Kitchener Panthers.

After covering the team in 2018 and 2019 as a news reporter, Mark took over the team’s broadcast in 2021. Elsewhere, he is the play by play voice of Laurier Golden Hawks women's hockey, Six Nations Chiefs of Major Series Lacrosse and he serves as a colour commentator for both the Guelph Storm on RogersTV and Sudbury Wolves (road radio broadcasts).

Fans can expect to see an upgraded video broadcast this season with plans for more camera angles and improved video quality. Mark Pare will also be joined in the booth by experienced IBL broadcaster, Neil Srivastava, who was most recently announcing for the Guelph Royals in the 2022 season and also made a few pinch hit appearances on the Panthers broadcast throughout the season.

Mark’s voice will not only be heard on the Panthers YouTube channel this year as Panthers home games will also be on the radio on 98.5 CKWR Real Community Radio. Please stay tuned as further details about this new partnership become available.

As the Panthers broadcast continues to grow, we are in search of further team members to help with its success. We are in search of volunteers looking to assist with production and also the setup and operation of cameras. Anyone with interest in getting involved with the broadcast can get in touch with panthersmarketing@yahoo.com or mark_pare200@hotmail.com
