BRANTFORD -- Kitchener erased an early four-run deficit to beat the Brantford Red Sox 9-6 Wednesday night at Arnold Anderson Stadium. 

Lucas Diluca and Carter Arbuthnot each drove in two for the Panthers (10-3), who trailed 4-0 after the fourth inning and scored six in the fifth, one in the sixth and two in the seventh. Adam Leader went 2-for-5 with an RBI, while Jett Jarvis, Keegan Marsden, AJ Karosas, Stephen Whalen and Blake Jacklin all drove in a run. 

Panthers' pitcher Liam Devine started and allowed four runs on four hits over four innings. He waked four and fanned six. Luis Grisanti (1-0) earned the win in relief, giving up two runs (one earned) on two hits in two innings, walking one and striking out four. Matt Stoddart earned his second save with three scoreless innings of one-hit relief. He walked one and struck out three.

Red Sox starter Kyle Lev lasted four innings, giving up six runs on seven hits with three walks and a strikeout. Nick Davies (1-3) took the loss, giving up three runs (two earned) on two hits in three innings. He walked three and struck out five. 

Zach Lampreia doubled and drove in two for Brantford (4-12). Gianfranco Morello had three hits, an RBI and one of six Red Sox stolen bases, Jesse Fishbaum went 2-for-3 and scored twice, and Nick Burdett and Liam Sutherland both drove in a run. 

The Kitchener Panthers next Home Game is tonight, Thursday August 12th vs. Hamilton Cardinals, 7:30 start time at Jack Couch Park.
