WEEK AHEAD: Meeting with Majors highlights Panthers plate

KITCHENER - There is nothing like a Kitchener-London matchup.

The Majors are in town Thursday night looking to redeem themselves after the Panthers handed them a 5-2 defeat in London back on May 24. First pitch is set for 7:30 p.m.

Following that, the Panthers wrap up the weekend with a pair of road games.

First, the Panthers head to the pond to take on the Welland Jackfish Saturday at 1:05 p.m.

Then, it's a trip south of Cambridge to visit the Brantford Red Sox Sunday at 2 p.m.

Last week, the Panthers were able to pick up a win against the Chatham-Kent Barnstormers, before losing a quick one in Guelph last Saturday. The game against the Royals took a mere two hours and 25 minutes, well below the league average.

The Sunday home game against Welland was rained out. A make up date has not yet been scheduled.

Kitchener sits with a 2-6 record to start 2024.
